Advanced Life Support Level 1 (ALS1) is a one day course focusing on developing skills, knowledge, and confidence in managing medical emergencies, including cardiac arrest.
ALS1 is an ARC accredited course designed for health professionals who don’t regularly deal with emergencies and may encounter the responsibility of managing a deteriorating patient or addressing a cardiac arrest until advanced support is available.

There are no formal pre-requisites for this course. We will send you the Australian Resuscitation Council Advanced Life Support course manual four weeks prior to the course commencement for self-guided pre-reading. Course materials also include an optional multiple-choice exam with answers and explanations supplied for self-assessment.
Neat casual clothing and enclosed footwear suitable for safe practice of the skills including hands-on CPR.
