Peter Mckie is a pioneering figure in the field of resuscitation, and medical education technology. In 1996, he founded PARASOL EMT, an organisation dedicated to delivering high-quality Advanced Life Support training. In 2011 he co-founded iSimulate, a simulation technology, before being acquired by 3B Scientific in 2020. Peter served as the Global Head of Strategy and Innovation for 3B Scientific until January 2026, guiding the development of cutting-edge simulation tools that enhance clinical training worldwide.

Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, Peter Mckie built a distinguished career as an Intensive Care Paramedic in New South Wales (NSW) and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) as a Clinical Instructor and educator. He also led the NSW and founded the ACT branch of the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) as Chairman for two decades, playing a pivotal role in shaping state and territory guidelines for emergency care and at the forefront of developing ALS courses for the Australian Resuscitation Council and Resuscitation Australia. Peter Mckie’s leadership in these roles has been instrumental.
